The membership gap is the headline

Aviron publishes $29/month, dropping to about $24/month on an annual plan, and one membership covers unlimited household profiles. Hydrow is $50/month, or about $38/month prepaid annually. Resistance and feel

Aviron uses dual air-and-magnetic resistance up to 100 lb, which reaches far higher than a pure magnetic budget rower and suits hard interval work. Hydrow uses near-silent electromagnetic resistance tuned for smooth, controlled, water-like rowing. Aviron is the harder-training machine; Hydrow is the quieter, more meditative one. The honest recommendation

Choose Aviron if you want to be pushed by games and challenges, want heavier resistance, and want the lowest running cost — especially with several people in the house. If neither the games nor the classes are the draw, a subscription-free machine will cost you far less.
